Bachelor of Medical Science degree

During the medical course, students who have successfully completed at least three years of the course and have shown special aptitude may interrupt their studies for a year to pursue in greater depth an area of medical science of particular interest to them. The year also provides students with the opportunity to learn valuable research skills.

On completion of the BMedSc year, students resume their medical studies.
