What is GAMSAT?

The Graduate Australian Medical School Admission Test (GAMSAT) has been developed by the Australian Council for Educational Research (ACER) in conjunction with the Consortium of Graduate Medical Schools to assist in the selection of students to participate in the graduate-entry programs.
GAMSAT is available to any student who has completed a Bachelor degree or who will be in the penultimate or final year of study for a Bachelor degree at the time of sitting the test.
GAMSAT is designed to assess the capacity to undertake high level intellectual studies in a demanding course. The test is offered once a year only.
