New Multidisciplinary Unit

Monash University is offering six new interdisciplinary units known as Monash Passport Units for the first time in Semester 2, 2011.  These are elective units designed to introduce students to major research challenges and industry experts, and to develop a range of skills and abilities that can be applied to transform local and international communities.  One of these units Improving Health Futures in a Global World (MON2002) has been developed by IPHU in conjunction with Oxfam Australia.  The unit explores how issues such as poverty, education, gender and natural circumstances - which are ultimately interrelated - can affect the health and wellbeing of people around the world.
