Health Informatics Postgraduate Degrees

The Monash Health Informatics Postgraduate Program has been extended and merged into the broader Master of Health Sciences program.  This program allows students to choose a health informatics specialisation in completing their Masters study.  Students may also elect to exit early with either a Graduate Certificate in Health Sciences (Health Informatics) or a Graduate Diploma in Health Sciences (Health Informatics).

Health Informatics units of study available are:

Graduate Certificate (24 unit points of study): CPE7601 Healthcare Information Systems, CPE7602 Developing Healthcare Information Systems, CPE7603 Contemporary Issues in Health Informatics, CPE7604 Health Information Systems Management

Graduate Diploma (48 unit points of study): All of the above units PLUS CPE7605 Electronic Health Record, CPE7606 Project Management for Health Professionals, one 6-point research methods unit, and one 6-point research project.

Masters (72 unit points of study): All of the above plus elective units as approved.
