Health Informatics Education

Health Informatics Education provides excellence in medical informatics in the areas of teaching, research and development, and community service. It serves as a focal point for industry, government, academia and the various disciplines of medicine seeking to integrate technology with health care.

Health informatics units may be studied as part of a specialist stream in the Master of Health Sciences, leading to graduation with a Master of Health Sciences (Health Informatics).  Individual units in health informatics areas may also be undertaken as electives in other courses.  For those not wishing to undertake a full Master program, short courses in single units may be commenced at any time of year.

Please note that all health informatics units of study are delivered via distance education.
