Introduction

The scale bar pictures below may be overlayed on images collected on the confocal microscope in rm 136 or from the Leica DMRB in rm 215. PLEASE NOTE: re-size AFTER overlay on original unmanipulated image. See Overlaying images with Photoshop for details

Confocal

These scales are calibrated from the objectives fitted to Nikon E600/Bio-rad MRC 1024

Leica DMRB (rm 215)

These scales were derived by photographing an electron microscope calibration scale.

They may be overlayed on images collected at 768 x 568 pixel resolution.

For 1024 x 768 resolution re-size these scale bar images x 133.3%
