Introduction

The scale bar pictures below may be overlayed on images collected on the MRC 1024 confocal microscope in the Morphology rm (BMRI), from the Leica DMRB or the Nikon Diaphot (inverted phase contrast) in rm 2U47. Confocal

These scales are calibrated from the objectives fitted to Nikon E600/Bio-rad MRC 1024

Leica DMRB (rm 2U47)

These scales were derived by photographing an electron microscope calibration scale.

They may be overlayed on images collected at 763 x 577 pixel resolution.

For 1079 x 816 resolution re-size these scale bar images x 133.3%

White Scale Bars for Darkfield images (eg Immunofluorescence)

Black Scale Bars for Brightfield images (eg H & E)

Nikon Diaphot -light microscope (rm 2U47)
