How to Book the confocal microscope using

Calendar Express - Instructions for Calendar Web Client (IE and Netscape)

Overview

Basically, you become the persona named: 'Pathology Booking' and then load/view the Agenda for the resources in CECS (Central and Eastern Clinical School) then you schedule a meeting with the chosen resource, in this case the confocal microscope.

1. Login to Calendar Express here - this link will open a new window -move it to the side then return here.
   
2. This works with a Monash authcate account only. One has been set up for you to you use.
   DO NOT share this password with anyone or use it for any other purpose.
   
   Login: Pathology Booking (Two words with a space, not case sensitive)
   Password: confocal (lower case only)
   
3. Follow the instructions for booking a resource below e.g. CECS Confocal Microscope -you can also use the system to book other resources (these are Mac screen captures but PC version is similar and both will vary with browser type and version)
   

Login to Calendar Express:

Click on Agenda

Type res: CECS then Find to locate the Agenda of the resources for CECS:

Select the resource you wish to book then Click View

Choose New Meeting

Fill in all the details (Name, timespan required etc.) then scroll to the bottom of the page and click Create the following dialog box:
