Infrastructure and Equipment Committee
Details of Infrastructure and Equipment Committee (IEC): Chair: Prof. Magda Plebanski (magda.plebanski@med.monash.edu.au) Committee Agenda: 1) To consolidate all requests for equipment removals, repairs, upgrades, replacements and purchases from members within the Department, and propose a preliminary ranking of importance/priority (based on demand). Repairs and removals should go directly to Sam and all other requests will be collected for review at Lab Head Meetings. 2) To ensure that all current equipment is being used correctly and efficiently and being maintained in an appropriate condition. Include: training (where required), detailed usage instructions posted by equipment with contact details for experienced users and in case of emergency, and encourage reporting of all faults. 3) To promote awareness of equipment available for use within the department and within AMREP in order to maximise everyone’s benefit
