WaterAid Australia are currently in the process of putting together a publication on hygiene promotion as part of the AusAID Innovation Fund. They have now compiled 14 project case studies and going through the process of editing and finalising the publication.
Christine Sijbesma from the International Water and Sanitation Centre (IRC) in the Netherlands has been assisting us with this publication, and she will be visiting Melbourne for a week to participate in a workshop that WaterAid are holding on hygiene promotion for NGO staff and students . Christine has over 30 years experience in the field of water supply and sanitation, with the focus of her work being the social and health aspects of community WASH. In order to maximise the value of her week in Australia, Burnet will be holding a meeting where Christine will come and speak to staff and students about her work on hygiene promotion over lunch on
