About Health Science

The Department of Health Sciences conducts research and teaching from multi-disciplinary perspectives with a commitment to community based health services and work that promotes health and wellbeing. Our innovative programs are available on campus or through flexible learning. We value partnerships between communities and higher educational institutions and participate in various University-community partnerships through joint appointments and research partnerships. We have a vision that all our graduates will have a strong sense of civic engagement and a commitment to working for the health of communities - whether in Australia or in countries overseas.
