Using an audit with 6 primary schools as well as interviews with 4 key informants, this study will also explore how schools are connecting with local health services and whether or not the Health Promoting Schools Framework helps schools to address social disadvantage within their communities. | |

This study employed a Cochrane endorsed assessment tool which investigated the potential transfer and application of a public health intervention to a new geographical location and target group. |

This study will look to provide a succinct, accessible and informative overview of current governmental action on health inequity and the social determinants of health in early childhood; as evidenced through State and Federal public policy since 2000. The study will develop existing tools used to analyse policy through such a social determinants of health lens and apply this lens to existing policy within the child health sector across Australian governmental jurisdictions. |
