- Theme 1 - Knowledge of welfare system, social equity issues & advocacy, etc
- Theme 2 - Health promotion & knowledge management
- Theme 3 - Cardiovascular, respiratory, renal, central nervous, haematological, endocrine, reproductive & gastrointestinal systems + paediatric (anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, pathology, microbiology, pharmacology etc) [ECG*]
- Theme 4 - Clinical history taking and examination of these systems with an introduction to clinical reasoning, venepuncture, level 2 first aid, breast examination
- Rural fortnight – rural issues in general practice
