Dr Litza Kiropoulos

Profile
Litza Kiropoulos is a bilingual clinical and research psychologist and currently working as a Senior Research Fellow and Senior Lecturer in the Department of General Practice, School of Primary Health Care, Monash University. She has a background in clinical and cross-cultural psychology. She has been actively involved in research, training and teaching in the areas of culture and mental health. She is particularly interested in issues relating to cross-cultural clinical practice. Litza has currently received a major research grant from the Victorian Centre of Excellence in depression to develop and evaluate the MIDonline (Multicultural Information on Depression online) website which is a depression-specific IT resource to assist in pathways to care (designed for health professionals, carers and consumers) and to improve depression literacy and decrease depression stigma in mid to older aged Greek and Italian people.
