Vision

The health of all Australians are improved through a primary health care system in which research is valued, plays a significant role and is a key activity at all levels, informing the development and implementation of policy and the organisation and delivery of care.

Purpose

The purpose of the Strategy under its Second Phase is to expand the existing primary health care research workforce, while improving the relevance and uptake of evidence in primary health care.
