Associate Professor Danielle Mazza

Danielle Mazza is an Associate Professor in the Department of General Practice at Monash University and a NICS – HCF Foundation Fellow. She is the author of a textbook for GPs and GP registrars called “Women’s Health in General Practice”. She was formerly the Medical Director of Family Planning Victoria and National Director of Quality Assurance and Continuing Education for the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and has also held the position of Associate Professor of Family Medicine at the International Medical University in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Danielle has published in many medical journals and has received awards for her research and presentation of scientific papers, particularly in the area of women’s health and sexual and reproductive health. Her current research interests are in the area of guideline implementation, preventive care in the general practice setting, evidence based practice, preconception care, fertility and delayed childbearing. She is in clinical practice at the Brighton Medical Clinic and the Royal Women’s Hospital Choices Clinic.
