Practice Nurse Work SurveyThe Practice Nurse workforce is growing rapidly, supported by a range of recently-introduced government initiatives. Currently there is a lack of information about the work being done by Practice Nurses in their daily work in general practices across Australia. The Practice Nurse Work Survey aims to describe the services currently being provided, and the tasks undertaken, by nurses in Australian general practice. The project involves a national survey of Practice Nurses. Further information can be downloaded here. Any person with nursing qualifications currently working in general practice or a primary care setting eligible to receive Medicare rebates (e.g. an Aboriginal Medical Service) can take part in the study.
