Gender Competency Training for Medical Educators

An extended introductory course on the concepts of sex and gender and a gender perspective in medicine was offered to faculty wanting to increase their understanding. Topics covered were wide ranging and included basic concepts and the consequences of gender-blindness in all aspects of medicine, from cardiac difference to gender dysphoria.
