It's not often that scientists get political. But on Tuesday 12 April, they made an exception, leaving behind their labs– but not their signature white coats – to attend the Discoveries need Dollars rally at the State Library of Victoria.
The Tim McArdle Memorial Fund
To turn the tragedy of Tim's death into something positive and to honour the outstanding contribution he made to our community, a Fund has been established in his name. On an annual basis, the Fund will award a Bursary to a Gippsland student of health sciences at Monash University who is in social and/or financial need.
