· Electronic databases - literature searching and referencing
· Getting published - dealing with the journals
Examples presented are from a variety of current studies, grant applications and manuscripts from this Department.

RACGP, RNZCGP and RCNA & NZ Nursing Association Continuing Medical/Nursing Education Points
Courses are eligible for RACGP QA&CPD Program Category 2 points for the 2005-2007 triennium. The RNZCGP has a reciprocal arrangement with the RACGP under which members attending CME run by an RACGP accredited provider can claim CME credits. Courses are endorsed by the Royal College of Nursing, Australia for CNE points as part of the RCNA Life Long Learning Program (3LP).
The NZ Nursing Assocation accepts these courses towards continuing education hours.
