Aims
|
This interactive course aims to introduce participants to the principles of chronic disease modelling for health policy planning.
|
|
Overview
|
The roles of epidemiological and economic modelling in health policy planning will be explored, using current real-life examples. The course will be run over two days. The first day will be an introduction to and overview of basic modelling methods. The second day will be a more in-depth discussion of specific modelling methods. Participants in each day will be instructed in the basic methods of modelling and will have the opportunity to exercise their knowledge and skills in an interactive workshop. Participants may choose to enrol in either or both days.
