Course fee AUD $4000 covers morning tea and lunch each day, and the textbook, Human Performance and Limitations, by Campbell and Bagshaw, which is sent to each student prior to the course. Students visit Air Services Australia at Tullamarine (including a visit to the control tower) and have the unique experience of hands-on flight in a full-motion airliner flight simulator. The simulator cost is included in the course fees.

  • This course satisfies the requirements of the Civil Aviation Safety Authority of Australia (CASA) for training of Designated Aviation Medical Examiners (DAME). 
  • No previous knowledge of aviation medicine is required.  
  • The course has been approved by the RACGP QA & CPD Program for 60 Category 1 points.
