Suitable for
This introduction is suitable for those who have never used a computer to perform statistical analysis, but who have a basic understanding of statistical concepts such as histograms, t-tests, linear regression and odds ratios.
Aims

To provide an introduction to the statistical analysis software program, Stata Release 11 covering basic data management issues and popular epidemiological analyses.

Please note Participants are expected to bring a laptop or register early (prior to September) to guarantee use of a DEPM laptop. A copy of the Stata software will be made available for students attending the course.
