Master of Occupational & Environmental Health

This course assists you as an occupational health professional to prevent and manage occupational health problems. This degree provides you with the skills necessary to evaluate health problems in communities thought to be associated with industrial activities. It caters for your special needs as a medical practitioner, nurse, allied health professional, scientist or OHS manager. Students are required to complete compulsory block requirements each semester.

Professional recognition

This degree is recognised by the Australasian Faculty of Occupational Medicine and the Australian College of Occupational Health Nurses. Royal Australian College of General Practitioner's CME points can be applied for annually. Other professional bodies may consider accreditation upon request.

Career Fields

Occupational Medicine, Nursing or Management positions within Industry, Government or Independent Professional Practice.

Entry requirements

You must have an undergraduate degree in an appropriate discipline and relevant professional experience. Your application will also be considered if you do not have a degree but have extensive relevant
experience.
