Dr Donna UrquhartBPhysio(Hons), PhDResearch FellowPhone: +61 3 9903 0590 Donna completed her Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Hons) in 1996 from La Trobe University. She was awarded a PhD from the University of Melbourne in 2003 and a NHMRC Clinical Research Fellowship in 2004. Her main research interests involve understanding factors that are associated with the development and progression of musculoskeletal conditions, in particular low back pain and osteoarthritis. As part of the NHMRC Capacity Building Grant on workplace public health, Donna is investigating the epidemiology of musculoskeletal conditions in an occupational setting. Donna continues to work in private practice, with a focus on the use of real-time ultrasound to assess back, abdominal and pelvic floor muscles, and teach physiotherapists locally and internationally in the assesment and management of back pain. |
