Louise, a senior research fellow, manages the CCRE Clinical Trials Centre. The Centre is located at Caulfield General Medical Centre, Kooyong Road, Caulfield South and has been established as a community based cardiovascular clinical trial centre, conducting both sponsored and investigator-initiated trials.

Louise has extensive experience in both laboratory and clinical research, with qualifications in biochemistry/ microbiology, computing and teaching. For the last 13 years she has managed large projects both in the Department of Epidemiology and Preventive Medicine, and at the Baker Heart Research Institute. She has experience in all aspects of project management, research administration and data management. Louise teaches clinical research management for the short courses and the MPH program at DEPM and in the undergraduate pharmaceutical sciences course at RMIT.
