Alistair joined the ANZIC-RC in March 2007 as Senior Research Fellow.  He has an established background in intensive care medicine and research.  Following his undergraduate medical training at the University of Dublin, Trinity College, Alistair commenced postgraduate medical training in the Irish anaesthesia and intensive care medicine specialist registrar program.  During this time he developed an interest in acute lung injury and subsequently undertook a three year laboratory based PhD at University College Dublin.
