Danny Liew graduated with a BMedSc and MBBS(Hons) from Monash University in 1994 and was admitted as a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (Clinical Pharmacology and General Medicine) in 2002. He completed his PhD at Monash University in 2005.

Dr Liew's research interests lie in clinical trials, epidemiological modelling, pharmacoepidemiology and pharmacoeconomics. He is also a consultant physician at The Alfred Hospital.
