Dr Karin LederHead, Infectious Disease Epidemiology UnitMBBS(Hons), FRACP, MPH Phone: +61 3 9903 0555 Karin graduated in medicine from Monash University in 1990 and undertook her medical specialist training in infectious diseases at Fairfield Hospital and Monash Medical Centre. She spent 3 years as an Infectious Disease Fellow at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Centre in Boston and completed a Master of Public Health at Harvard University. Her specific areas of interest include traveller’s health, health issues in immigrants and refugees, and waterborne infections. Karin is the head of the Infectious Diseases Epidemiology Unit and also works as a visiting specialist physician at the Royal Melbourne Hospital. |
