Jan Lucas Hoving is an Honorary Associate of the Department of Epidemiology and Preventive Medicine, Monash University.

Jan joined the Department as a Senior Research Fellow in 2001, initially in the area of Musculoskeletal disorders / clinical epidemiology, followed by a position at the Unit of Occupational and Environmental Health while coordinating the Healthwise study (2003 until August 2005). He returned to the Netherlands to take up a Senior Research Fellow position with the Coronel Institute for Occupational and Environmental Health, at the Academic Medical Center, Universiteit van Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
