Dr Fahad Hanna

Before coming to Australia, Fahad completed part of a Bachelor degree of Medicine overseas with brief training in clinical medicine.  In Australia, Fahad obtain a degree in genetics with Honours then began a  PhD with this Department in 2003 on population health, looking at factors affecting knee joint structure (osteoarthritis).

Fahad has been successful in obtaining an NHMRC fellowship in 2007 to work on hip osteoarthritis and modifiable risk factors such as obesity and physical activity.
