Bianca Chan is a Research Fellow with the International Public Health Unit in the Department of Epidemiology and Preventive Medicine, Monash University. She is the Project Manager for the Managing cO-mOrbid Depression: Coronary Aftercare Randomized Evaluation (MOOD-CARE) study, a three year randomised controlled trial which investigates the effectiveness of a telephone-delivered intervention (MOODCARE) on health outcomes of depressed heart attack patients at 6 and 12 months.

She has worked on local and international clinical trials in chronic diseases including type II diabetes, cardiovascular disease and osteoarthritis. She completed the Master of Public Health at Monash University in 2007
