Lal Rawal, MPH, MIRB

PhD Candidate

Lal B Rawal is a PhD student with the International Public Health Unit (IPHU) in the School of Public Health and Preventive Medicine (SPHPM), Monash University. Rawal’s research interests focus on prevention and management of chronic diseases in developing countries, health system development and policy formulation.

With his background in public health, health education, and international research bioethics, he has served as a Lecturer in Public Health for Public Health Schools in Nepal from 2005 to 2009. He has also been involved in many different health research projects funded by national and international health agencies in Nepal. Apart from his current PhD studentship, he is also involved in other public health teaching/ tutoring and research activities within the School of Public Health and Preventive Medicine, Monash University.
