Project Outline

This project is funded by the VicHealth Discovery Grant Scheme for 2008 and 2009.  To purpose of the study is to conduct two deliberative forums in a metropolitan and regional centre of Victoria in order to evaluate an innovative method for identifying: 1) citizans detailed views in relation to chronic disease , prevention and health promotion, and 2) how each of these identified areas can be better addressed by a whole-of-society approach in the future.

Project Outcomes

The project and community forums have now been run, one forum in each of Bendigo and Reservoir, Victoria.  An outcomes report is being finalised and will be sent to participants for input before being posted on the AIHPS website www.aihps.org
