Bachelor of Biomedical ScienceRe-enrolment information
Course Code: 2230 Administration/Course EnquiriesTelephone: +61 (03) 9905 1212 Email: biomed@med.monash.edu All students in the Bachelor of Biomedical Science are required to enrol in a full time load, which is normally a total of 48 credit points at each year level. Course structure and requirements are explained on the Bachelor of Biomedical Science web page. If you wish to enrol in anything other than a full-time enrolment then you must seek express permission from the School of Biomedical Sciences. For full unit descriptions refer to the University handbook. First YearFirst Year Students must complete two elective units in addition to the six core units. Please remember to choose your electives. Second YearSecond Year Students must complete two elective units in addition to the six core units. Please remember to choose your electives. Third YearThird Year Students must complete six elective units in addition to the two core units. At least four of your third year electives must be from the biomedical sciences areas. These units begin with the prefixes ANT, BCH, BME, BMS, BND, BNS, CEL, GEN, HUP, IMM, MIC, PHA and PHY. Students may take the remaining two electives from other Faculties. Please note that you must meet all the unit prerequisites rules, and must abide by the relevant Faculty's rules and regulations.
