Special ConsiderationIf you have been adversely affected by serious illness or other exceptional causes beyond your control, you may apply for special consideration. The outcome of your application will depend on your case and the type of assessment.More information:

Submitting an application for special consideration: In-Semester assessmentYour application must be submitted no later than two University working days after the submission deadline for that piece of work. Applications are to be submitted as directed by the School/Department office that teaches the unit. Submitting an application for special consideration: End of Semester assessmentYour application must be submitted within 48 hours of your last exam scheduled in the examination period or no later than two University working days after the due date of the end-of-semester assessment task..You must lodge the original application plus one copy for each unit you are applying for. MNHS students: submit your form to the School/Department office administering your course. Non MNHS students: submit your form to the faculty office administering your course, or as directed by your faculty. Application outcomesThe granting of a deferred exam is at the discretion of the School/ Department and the Board of Examiners. In some cases, the Board of Examiners may allow for Supplementary Assessment to be submitted. If you have been granted a deferred exam, you will be notified of the outcome by the school/office teaching the unit. You should also be able to check it on the Web Enrolment System (WES). Mark adjustments shall not be made under any circumstances. |
