Background:

I recently relocated to Melbourne from the States where, for twelve years, I have been living in Boulder, Colorado. Originally from New York, I hold a Bachelor's in Theatre from Brown University and a Master's in Education, with a focus on Theatre in Education, from The Harvard University Graduate School of Education.

I served as a both a Clinical Teaching Associate in Women's Health and as a simulated patient (SP) at the University of Colorado for seven years. Concurrently, I organized a teen program offering free, after-school theatre and arts classes to teens as well as ran my own freelance writing and curriculum development business. Prior to this, I worked as a research associate for the University of Colorado's Centre for the Study and Prevention of Violence, researching programs to prevent bullying. I have also worked as a member of an educational theatre company which used drama to teach conflict resolution skills to high-risk students.

I am an avid traveller and spent a recent summer leading a six week trip with 45 17-year-olds. Australia is the fifth continent I've visited thus far and I'm looking forward to exploring all that down under has to offer, with my partner, a Melbourne native.
