Margaret is a Health Psychologist and Academic Convenor of Years 1 & 2 of the Monash MBBS Clayton-based program and a Senior Research Fellow/Strategic Direction Coordinator for Psychological Medicine teaching into the MBBS and allied health programs. The latter is administered through the Alfred Psychiatry Research Centre (APRC), Alfred Hospital. She is also a member of the Centre for Developmental Psychiatry and Psychology (CDPP). Both the APRC and CDPP are within the School of Psychology, Psychiatry & Psychological Medicine. Her Health Psychology Research Group undertakes a range of funded and higher degree research projects with a broad focus on determining the optimum management of chronic illness in childhood and adolescence.  Her interests in medical education centre on assessment and standard setting; enhancing the experience of undergraduate learning; and in the promotion of professional behaviours in undergraduate medical students.
