MEU9010 Independent Study in Health Professional Education

3 credit points

In this unit participants will apply their understanding of educational principles and practices to a small project of professional relevance to the individual course participant. Participants will negotiate an appropriate supervised project with the Unit Coordinator that will be completed under supervision. The project will be practical and focused upon an aspect of the participant's own educational practice or that of their organisation.

On completion of this unit, participants will be able to:

  1. Develop an applied education project proposal;
  2. Plan and implement the project;
  3. Evaluate the project process and outcomes using appropriate evaluation methods;
  4. Prepare a project report appropriate to their workplace settings.


Please note: This elective (MEU9010) is an independent study unit that does not require on-campus Study Day attendance.
