The Central & Eastern Clinical School (Direction map) at the Alfred Medical and Educational Precinct (AMREP) lies between The Baker Medical Research Institute and Macfarlane Burnet Institute, adjacent to the Alfred hospital on the left, on Commercial Road., near Punt Road.

How to find CECS (incl. research Depts. Path& Imm, Medicine, Surgery)

Entry to the School is via the Alfred Hospital main entrance:
Continue straight ahead past the Information Desk to the stairwell; walk up one flight of stairs to the 1st floor and continue as if you had turned left before entering the stairwell. Proceed ~150 m past the MRI until you come to double glass doors near the end of the corridor on the left and report to reception for a visitors card.

Arriving by car

On site parking is restricted to all personnel but short term parking is available on Commercial Road or in The Alfred public carpark corner Punt and Commercial Roads, as well as a number of public carparks along St Kilda Road.

By tram, CECS, AMREP and Monash Medical School are a 15-20 min ride from the city. Take tram no. 3 from Swanston St.
