MBio 3-minute Thesis Competition

Renee Duncan

Renee Duncan from the Pike Lab is the winner of the inaugural MBio 3-minute Thesis Competition.   Entering the finals with fellow Biochem heat winner, Chris Langendorf, Renee presented her thesis "MASP-2 and C1s : the Samurai's of Complement".  

Renee was awarded a $1,000 travel grant.

The event involved the presentation of the finalists' research in three minutes or less with the challenge being the ability to take complex research and communicate it in a fashion that a non-specialist audience can understand.

Congratulations from the Biochem Dept are extended to Renee.
