Toshiya Yamada Early Career Award

Catherine Itman (Loveland Lab) was awarded the Toshiya Yamada Early Career Award at the ANZSCDB (Australia and New Zealand Society of Cell and Developmental Biology) meeting. This was held as part of the OzBio2010 meeting at the Melbourne Convention Centre from Sept 27th to Oct 1st.

Catherine's presentation was titled "Setting the pace of development:Smad3 in the testicular activin/androgen axis".

The Toshiya Yamada Early Career Award is named in memory of the contributions made to the Society by Toshiya Yamada and is awarded for the best oral presentation by an Early Career Researcher in the fields of cell and developmental biology.
