The currently used programs for gel scanning and analysis include PD-Quest™ Version 7.3.0 (Bio-Rad) and ImageMaster™ 2DPlatinum Version 5.0 (GE Health Care) image analysis software. These programs facilitate the generation of statistical data concerning proteins that have been identified as differentially expressed.
