Lorne Proteins Young Investigator Award
Corrine Porter (Whisstock Lab) was awarded one of four Lorne Proteins Young Investigator Awards and was given the opportunity to present a talk at the Lorne Protein Conference. Her talk was titled “The Gram positive-conjugation protein, TcpC, is structurally related to a type IV secretion system protein”.
This research was a collaboration with Professor Julian Rood's lab in Microbiology, with functional work done by one of his PhD students, Radhika Bantwal.
