| Sandringham Hospital Gets a New Library |  |

|
The Sandringham Hospital Library was relocated in June to a new facility on the 1st floor of the Consulting Clinics Building. The new library facility has been completely refurbished with a new carpet, lighting and walls freshly painted. The library's space will allow for expansion in the book collection, and the installation of an additional 1-2 computer workstations. Opposite the hospital boardroom, the library is in a quiet part of the hospital, and should provide a haven for staff and students needing a place to study and access information resources. |

| Management Books Update | ||||||

Library staff recently visited the Australian Institute of Management (AIM) Bookshop together with expert advisors from the Alfred's Development & Retension department. Newly published books were selected containing the latest thinking on management skills, leadership, team building, employee performance review, and organisational change. Most of these books are now available for borrowing or inter-campus loan from the Ian Potter Library.
