Monash University will celebrate the achievements of six outstanding alumni when the 2009 Distinguished Alumni Awards are presented on 10 June.

Scientists from Monash University, the Australian Stem Cell Centre, and the Florey Neuroscience Institutes are the first recipients of Victoria-California Stem Cell Alliance grants.

Exhibition: Astronomy in a Nutshell
A new exhibition at the Monash Science Centre, showing until the end of 2009, will give visitors a brief introduction to the history, culture and science of astronomy.
